  • Camponotus fedtschenkoi is a very popular species found in the Asian continent. They popularity is heavily linked to their spectacular colour variations of both the Queen and even more from their polymorphic workers.

Camponotus fedtschenkoi tend to inhabit drier and harsher climates compared to other species. They like drier desert and steppe climates. They are found in various regions in Asia such as Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Northwestchina. You can mimic their climate conditions but I find they do very well with a 50 to 60 percent nest space humidity with y-tong or acrylic or natural set up.
