Pseudolasius cibdelus Queen with workers
Pseudolasius cibdelus reminds me of an exotic version of Lasius niger this species is rarely sold due to it being hard to obtain, there is also not much scientific research on this species for that reason. The queens of this species are fairly small around 5-6mm in length and workers can vary in size with various worker castes sizes ranging from 3-8mm in size. They are a very active species and a must have for ant collectors, they are beginner exotic friendly and great to add to the collection! We usually only stock less than 5 of this species a year if we are lucky but usually have 1 or 2 a year.

If your colony does fail inside a nest contact us, we can advise what went wrong but it is up to you to buy another ant colony, you will succeed but sometimes it does not work the first time.
