Harpegnathos venator Queen with 5-10 workers (18th of September dispatch)
Harpegnathos venator is a very beautiful looking ant from Asia, they are prolific hunters with amazing eyesight they will stalk and hunt their prey and raise and wag their gaster when they have seen prey they will grab prey in their jaws and sting to paralyse them. They can survive without a queen as a worker can be a gamergate and fill the role of the queen. A truly beautiful demonstration of evolution.
