Camponotus Parius is found in south east Asia they are a tropical species and are very active during the day from morning to evening. They are a highly desirable exotic ant species due to their colouration on their gaster which is of a silky golden colour.

 

They will do well on a diet consisting of honey water and insects. They are a beginner entry level exotic species in terms of difficulty but they are also a species for the more experienced ant keeper.

 

They are also a fast-moving species and do so aggression towards pray and food sources and being an exotic species, they do not require hibernation.

We have no control over the environment outside the test tube and have no influence in the conditions the responsibility once placed outside the test tube within the 14-day period the responsibility is with the buyer. 9 times out of 10 colonies die in the nest due to lack of water access, food, temperature, oxygen or stress due to vibrations or exposure to excess light. If your colony does fail inside a nest contact us, we can advise what went wrong but it is up to you to buy another ant colony, you will succeed but sometimes it does not work the first time.
