Hexacore Combo (Series X)
The Hexacore Combo combines our Hexacore Nest and Hexacore Outworld into one complete modular habitat system — designed for expanding colonies ranging from hundreds to well over a thousand workers.
Built as part of the Series X ecosystem, the Hexacore Combo offers exceptional flexibility, easy expansion, and advanced colony management through our integrated Door Slide Technology™. Whether you keep fast-growing Lasius colonies or larger species such as Camponotus, the Hexacore provides a spacious, durable, and future-proof setup built to grow with your ants.
 
The included Hexacore Nest features dual mould chambers with advanced hydration control(central hydration for hydrating two moulds or separate hydration for each mould), while the Hexacore Outworld provides a generous foraging arena that allows natural exploration and feeding behaviour.
 
Perfect for keepers looking to scale up their colony setup, the Combo offers a complete modular system at a reduced bundle price compared to purchasing items separately.

Assembly Guide
We recommend following our Vertex assembly video, available within the product images, as the assembly method is very similar.
Outworld Assembly
Carefully remove all protective film from acrylic components 
Identify the two longer and two shorter side panels 
Attach the shorter panels to the base first 
Repeat with the longer panels 
Ensure all panels sit flush before tightening screws 
Tighten securely without overtightening 
Once assembled:
Attach the top frame screw in. 
Secure the first-lip frame and screw in. 
Remove protective film from the ventilated acrylic lid 
Attach the second-lip frame and handle 
Place the final lid on top 
Nest Setup
Insert the supplied connectors into the chosen ports 
Secure using the included screws and supplied hex key 
Refer to product images for correct final orientation and assembly confirmation.
Important Note
One hex key is supplied per order, not per individual unit.
Example:
Ordering two nests (or a nest and outworld combo) includes one hex key total.
